This means less evaporation and slower aging.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The optimal temperature for most cut flowers is from 4\u00b0C to 8\u00b0C (which is why florists keep bouquets in cold rooms).<\/li>\n<li>At home it is good for the bouquet to stay away from radiators and direct sunlight.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Water<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Clean water is the most important factor.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cutting the stems at a 45\u00b0 angle increases the surface area for absorption.<\/li>\n<li>Right after cutting, the stems must be placed in water \u2013 otherwise an air &#8220;plug&#8221; forms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong> <\/strong>3.
